Its only a few people bringing up this options issue, and they go from thread to thread with the same drumbeat, even though many have said they own no stock of the company in question.

I own stock in cisco, ciena, sebl and others who grant options. I am not in favor of this expensing approach (black-scholes), it is flawed and overstates by assigning a value to worthless unexercised options. If these "options police" want options expensed using black-scholes, simply vote in some board members that share your pov, its as simple as that! If you own no stock in companies that grant options, then there shouldn't be an issue here, I would say.
