Hmm, I still believe Krugman nailed the Bush bit (you should read Molly Ivin on this whole business sometime); you still think limited partnerships are the name of the game.

Hi CobaltBlue; When FL shows up, he'll probably slap our wrists for going into such detail on George W's business deal, but if you do a google search on baseball teams, I think you'll find that it is not at all uncommon for them to lose a hell of a lot of money.

I'd bet that Bush's partners weren't at all certain that they'd ever have to give 10% of the company to him, as the likelihood of his being able to pay them back was not at all large.
