The thing at dispute here, from the way I read it, is that Klugman said that Bush was brought in when he was Governor. He wasn't. He was Governor when it was sold. The deal was made in 89 when he was just trying to make a buck. Huge difference in truth.

I looked for the relevant Krugman column but the back ones are archived. I seriously doubt he would have said anything like that. That's not a Krugman error. It's much too obvious. If there is an error, and I doubt there is, it will most likely lie in the meaning of the $12 million.

But I'm, repeat, tired of this one.
