William, a VC guy recently told me he believes coffee is scalable. And rumor has it that Dunkin' Donuts is in negotiations with St. Peter to open kiosks just outside the gates of heaven. But the real expansion opportunity may be to open DD shops just outside the gates of hell; traffic there is said to be very heavy..

ATLANTA (AP) Three Home Depot stores soon will have a full-serve Dunkin' Donuts within their doors, part of a test program the companies announced Tuesday.

The partnership between the nation's largest home improvement retailer and the leading coffee and baked good chain should cut down on travel time for customers, said John Simley, a spokesman for Atlanta-based Home Depot.
