Appropriate songs. Oh, my, Dalin had a fire? I should have been surfing more. I haven't been hearing the cats for about half an hour, so maybe all the hotspots are out. Funny. We have had about 8 days of LA type air, with all the smoke from Oregon coming down here. Visibility was often down to less than a mile. This noon was the first clear day we have had. Go figure.

Here are a couple of new shots of the well in use. photo.net All has not been totally smooth at the village...I guess there is some bickering amongst them as to some using more water than others....to be expected I guess. The power to run the well runs about 7 cents per household per month, and some feel that they should pay less because they use less.. And I guess some are not paying at all and saying they don't use the well.....but they then sneak out in the middle of the night and fill their buckets.. I have sent money to Mr Hung so that he can make up for however much they are short each month. He is trying to help them organize and cooperate....not easy. scoot
