Jorj, Thanks for the excellent summaries.

I am a little more inclined to believe the bearish case in the short term. Several of the factors supporting the bullish case may assert themselves after a retest of the lows.

25pt COMP shows a selling climax to the recent lows followed by a low pole reversal and then a subsequent higher low and double top buy. BRL at 1475 gives room to the upside.

This one makes me also think that before we get that bearish retest of the lows, we may have just a little further to go on the upside. I don't see us rallying to 10,000 Dow from here though.

Thanks for those two cases! Some people trying to figure (in the shorter time frames) how a low around 9/11 could figure in. Also, any tax selling this year? tim
