Tim, I defend the truth (as I see it, of course). If that has the effect of defending Bob on some issues, so be it.

If you say you have heard him say "we" were wrong on the radio, then I will have to take your word for it. Was this recently? I may have heard him say it early on, but not in quite a while.

Frankly, I don't put much stock in amateur psychoanalysis. I think people who obsess over his choice of personal pronouns are just that: obsessed.
