I was just looking at the IB API again to make sure and it is possible that the data stream isn't based on polling and that it is only the order status that is so I may be wrong here about the correctness of the charts. But the lack of historical data still makes you have to do your own data maintanence, corrections etc. Basically more work than it seems worth. But now I'm going to have to look into adding support for IB data as a backup for my AMiGO charting program ( trendvue.com ). Wish I hadn't seen this thread! <g> -Atin
