I did not answer your post because your response to my original question was ridiculous...the Aflac duck in the Yogy Berra commercial comes to mind. If the US - Iraq roles were reversed, would Iraq be justified to invade the US? Consider the crushing restrictions, the no flys, the sanctions, the constant rhetoric, etc...

My response was ridiculous? Iraq agreed to the terms of the ceasefire in order to stop to procession of the Gulf War. We have a RIGHT to be there. And when the fire on us, it is an attack against us. That may SEEM ridiculous to YOU, but it is factually accurate.

I disagree with Bush's policies on Iraq, the ANWAR, his bellicose stands, careless speeches, my way or no way approach to leadership...but that does not make me a liberal. In many ways I am very conservative.

I have obviously missed something. I stand corrected. What were those issues you are conservative on?

Al, <If the US - Iraq roles were reversed, would Iraq be justified to invade the US?>

If the roles were reversed, a fundamentalist dictatorship would be the sole superpower, and it would feel "justified" to invade anyone it felt like. Remember, Saddam doesn't burden himself with democracy, or human rights, or human freedoms.

It's funny how liberals trust communists, fundamentalists, and terrorists over the government of the most successful, most watched, and most accounted-for nation.

In many ways I am very conservative. Have you considered why you so often resort to generalizations about liberals? Finally, I don't fault you for being a conservative, if that's what you are. I think opposing views are very important. You should stick to the issues.

Al, I too was surprised to find out that I was a liberal. For D. Ray, I think you're coined a liberal whenever you disagree with him.
