Brian, thanks for all your inputs, with your frequency staying at this level it provides a good insight into how traders are reacting to the mish mash of market intent.

Intent is all powerful, yet due to derivative trading it masks indicators which used to be bankable. I am wondering about wether the PC ratio might fall into that category now. People / Traders are Selling the puts and calls as income generators, this has broadened in the last two years to sky high levels. Because Options are traditionaly used as hedges for positions long or short, gross Options data without KNOWN INTENT are particularly useless as market indicators.

Worse still, they may be absolutely misleading.

I've about given up on the Option Market Signals, Max Pain is about the only facet which retains it's value, because it has causality of it's own.

IMO, Gross options data are near worthless as offered day to day.
