i don't think he's saying you have to compromise your principles to have a good marriage, rather that a fundamental principle of a good marriage is the ability to compromise with your partner. imo...

42 yrs with one chick. 31 yrs they never fired you. You escaped the mandatory divorce law, and the 25 year retirement policy. (Get a gold watch?) I take it you disguised yourself as a water cooler. The only way you could have held a job that long is that you learned how to operate the coffee maker, and the airconditioner, or the boss liked your jokes. I cannot see how you could have withstood the onslaught of that many nephews for so long otherwise. If you were massively competent you would have scared someone by now and you would be history. Or they would have got you to train an army of newphews and wrote down all your secrets so they could clone you with a computer and fired your ass. You should write a book. EC<:-}
