Effectively he advocates all of that, but you are using very old European rhetoric. The American code phrases are "tax the rich", "give EVERY American free health care", "regulate these 'big corporations' who are screwing everybody" and "protect the Social Security 'trust fund'"

The terms in your post were equally as subtle in Europe in the 1930's, when Carville's hero, Geobbels, used them to smokescreen the German working class into supporting the Daschlegephardt of that era, Adolf Hitler.

The bottom line, as it is in all eras of history, is "Give up your liberties to us , and we will take care of you."

Hitler really took care of the Germans, didn't he?...
