Slider, i have been in total agreement with all your recent posts except for one small thing. I don't think we should 'permanently' seize Iraq's oil fields. I agree and have been saying since 9-11 that Iraq's oil should be used for war reparations for 'every' ally in the war. However, i think it would be in our own best long term interests to return the oil to the people of Iraq once the war has been totally paid for.

Pernanent seizure is indeed tempting, but world opinion would make the cost very high. What do you think?
