Don,

These companies like HD are debt junkies. Before this debt bubble has done its job, IMO these companies will be weaned of their requirements for credit and will have to learn to be viable businesses. The ones that can not pay expenses out of profits will go BK. With the low interest rates a fair number of these businesses could limp along and be an economic drag on the country. Kind of like what has gone on in Japan for the last decade.
