I think everyone will come around when Bush announces his intent. You really can't blame anyone for not wanting to jump on board before WE make a commitment.

Dream on.........this war is about to divide this country. It may be a good time for Arkansas to secede. Let me know and we will throw you a good bye party.

I think the liberals just get alarmed prematurely about these matters. For example, Ted was saying it is a done deal, we're getting ready to attack, Bush felt no need to consult with Congress. There hasn't been ANY suggestion from the administration that they expect to move without approval. However, it is reasonable to expect a military buildup without approval; we've done it that way for years and will continue to.

Apparently, you haven't listened to your president speak lately. You might want to do it.......its very informative.

David, <when Clinton violated the War Powers Act against Milosevic the liberals weren't complaining -- now we have Bush just "thinking" about war and their freaking....>

Exactly. Don't forget that Clinton had his fair share of civilian casualties. Homes bombed because Milosevic placed his SAM sites among human shields (a common practice among evil leaders). A stealth fighter shot down, leaving valuable stealth technology exposed to salvage by our enemies. And one Chinese embassy destroyed because of bad maps.

Compared to an "ethnic cleanser" who never directly attacked the U.S., the Taliban was a cake walk, a "splendid little war."
