Those are market-bullish sentiment numbers, but VIX, VXN and equity PC ratio have been saying the opposite lately.

Back to 951 SPX.

FYI, just eyeballing the Dow chart from 1937-1942, looks like 52%. Most of that came in the first leg down from August-November 1937 (195-112). Final low was 93 in 1942.

The sentiment numbers on lowrisk.com are not close to what is found on AAII.
