Fisher isn't the only one. Many pundits, gurus, analysts, talking heads admit they are wrong and then go on to explain at least partially where their analysis went awry. Bob is part of that smarmy contingent where image is more important than helping customers avoid problems in the future.

As for the QQQs, I think it's laughable that Bob says to hold them for higher prices during the next cyclical bull. That's obvious isn't it? Anyone want to hazard a guess when they'll actually break even? It took UTEK 3 years, I suspect it will take a lot longer for the QQQs. Anyone holding them until Bob says sell? That didn't go over well with UTEK. LOL.

Is that a newsletter?

California Technology Stock Letter uses exclusively "we." Or at least it did up until I let my subscription run out.

If I cared about personal pronouns as much as some, I could find a library that has a representative collection of financial newsletters and do a survey. But I don't.
