Should descendants of Union soldiers who fought to liberate blacks from slavery be required to pay reparations?

Better yet, moenmac: via the same acrobatics of logic that justify reparations for slavery, shouldn't the families of Union veterans killed in combat themselves be entitled to reparations of some sort?

Good points to consider that point out the ludicrous nature of reparations and the assumption guilt via decadency. I can't believe anyone seriously believes this crap.
