Bill, the closest it comes to being a "moral" issue is in how options are used in executive compensation, and then it's really just an issue of screwed up incentives that may, in some cases, lead to unethical behavior. Olstein and Buffett agree on one thing - grants are better for shareholders. And BTW, grants get expensed. Too bad the taxation sucks - otherwise they'd be better for rank and file incentives, too.

Bill -- options is a political issue -- not a moral issue and certainly not a technical issue. As for Bob taking apart my position, nothing could be further from the truth. He made absolutely no point whatsoever.
