It's not the paper-pushing, my friend, the thing is STRUCTURED to collapse. It always has been. The driving idea of the politicians who dreamed it up was that they needed to pay off a bunch of starving old people in their day, and that WE would privatize it by now, before it collapsed. The backward-thinking Marxist/Leninist Demacrats are resisting the Scheme's destiny, and that pig-headedness is gradually sending them down the sewer of history...
