Actually, Karen, I admired Quayle's style more than Bush Senior's in the campaign of '92. Dan came out swinging at Gore and fighting hard for votes. Bush Sr., on the other hand, ran an unenthusiastic, tired and uninspired campaign, which was crystallized by his frequent wristwatch checks during the TV debate with Clinton and Perot.

You're right. I'd much rather have Quayle in the White House than what we got now.
