Could be. To get much international support, he's going to have to sell the theory that Iraq is a danger to more than just it's immediate neighbors, I think- -and that will be tough. He'll have to show they have more than just a chemical and biological weapons program. They'll have to be working on nukes too.

The danger I see in the US going it alone is that we get into it and the ME and Arab states do all they can to hamper us and aid Iraq. Iraq gets a flood of volunteers for jihad pouring in. And we end up bogged down in a trap with our only choices being to slog it out and lose tens or hundreds of thousands of men, withdraw in ignominy, or use nukes.
