If this is the arguement, then US must be stopping the support of ISI to Al-Quaeda and related groups in Kashmir.

My recollection is that contemporaneous with our attack on Afghanistan, many higher-ups in ISI were fired. I am aware of reports that the ISI culture remains as it was before.

The situation in Kashmir is not good. The situation in Pakistan worsened drastically today, in my opinion.

The whole world is going to change after 9/11. A lot of things which were tolerated will no longer be tolerated. But change will not come overnight.
