this options expensing issue just brings the mentality of the trading threads to the stock threads. (you know stock attack II and MDA and those)

You know the trading threads... they used to be all bulls but now they are all bears (but they call themselves traders). Of course almost all of them that I follow missed this recent rally but again, they are traders not bears.

When you read them it can make you crazy in their insistence that every piece of news or spike on the charts is yet more vindication of their position. But don't try to debate with them, its a lost cause.

Thats how this options expensing thing is. Nobody budges either way since there is too much grey area. There is no winning this debate. Precisely why I think the legislation of options, if it happens, will be quite watered down.
