Once the die has been cast (as he can do under the War Powers Act, which gives him 60 days before he has to get approval from Congress) (this is what I've read; i'm no expert on the WPA), he'll get all the Congressional support he needs, because the discussion will be spun so it's no longer about policy -- it will be all about "our young men and women in uniform" and "supporting them." Them. That's kind of predictable, isn't it?
