I never said I believed in reparations for slavery. I said it was a much more serious issue than Farrakhan alone and it may be similar to dealing with injustices to Indians and Japanese-Americans. I think serious, intelligent, well-meaning people can believe in slavery reparations; I would not put Farrakhan in that class.

Shall Catholics be held responsible for the atrocities of the Inquisition?

Here is a primer on trans-generational guilt. Why hold Catholics to a standard lower than they demand?

"The Inquisition decided that Jewish ancestry determined secret Jews. If one had a Jewish grandparent, this person had Jewish blood and was therefor a Converso. Although all Conversos had been baptized, washing sin from their souls, it was determined that Jewish blood was so filthy it was impervious to baptism and divine grace (which is in itself a heresy). The Pure Blood Laws were introduced."
