i don't understand this logic. the parallel to the bull case is that the entry of amateur shorters in size means the final meltdown is still before us...

this assumes the "fact" is even true, which i kinda doubt, since nobody - nobody! - in my normal circle of acquaintances is shorting anything.

maybe i just hang out with the wrong people, lol.

GT, very little attention is given to the fact that corporate buybacks - share repurchases - often funded with debt was a bigger factor than da babybrat saving for retirement money flows. Moreover , Dr. Richebacher points out that foreign money flows were the saviour in 2000-01 . In light of the economic revelations in the past year and the decline in interest rates and the falling dollar - foreign money flows will not come to the rescue. Very impressive bear rally the market is toast - no way out this time IMO. mike
