I don't know if it would be fair to say that I have a conservative approach - in a lot of ways you could say that I am addicted to risk. I have heard Brinker advocate re-balancing annually, each January, but he does not appear to be doing this in the model portfolio that has a bond allocation, so I think he is just waiting for a good entry point on the equities, and I presume he would re-balance the equity and bond allocations at that time also. That is probably what I will do, but I don't know whether this will be in response to a Brinker buy signal or not.
