Microsoft: Solly upgrade details (52.28) -- Update -- As mentioned earlier (7:04), Salomon Smith Barney upgraded MSFT to OUTPERFORM from Neutral, based on the following data points from their IT spending survey: 1) CIOs expect to spend more on MSFT products over the next 6 months, 2) more customers are signing Enterprise Licensing Agreements, 3) Windows mkt share for mission critical applications is increasing, 4) the current shift to Linux appears to be more of a threat to UNIX, and 5) healthy deferred revenue growth in the Sept qtr. Raises price target to $59 from $56.

Hi Ya Oj. Firstly, u never did tell me what you wanted for the prezzie... so fire away. Secondly, my prediction for MSFT was not for this month or next month, read the post again....I said a few years... you said you may not even be alive! Thirdly, These Maro Cycle lows are bogus hockus pockus... If we listened to all these "cylce lows" we would be in the SOX from 500 plus awaiting the departure of the last train. <<VVBG>> I'LL POUND THE TABLE AGAIN... THERE WILL BE NO RECOVERY FOR MANY MANY YEARS. Forthly, Check my last 2 prognosis for the NAZ on Velo's board... Hit my 2nd target at 1425... Note this was called when we were in the 1320's.... Fifthly, I am dead tired cause I have just arrived in NYC for my latest summer venture...so I will not be trading most of my time here... See ya later! And don't forget to select your prezzie....
