MM, I don't blame the victims- baby brats. I grew tired of hearing that bbs saving for retirement virtually guaranteed that the stock market would rise until 2010. The same demographics argument was used in Japan ( a prelude to our future). I blame AG, the financial disservice industry and their lackeys in the press, CNBS, et. al. I am a late boomer myself but not a brat -g-. TL & EV may seem like a fantasy to you but to many who placed their trust in the message of the financial industry the nightmare is just beginning. the average investor was not invested in the indices - they were in mutual funds that were heavily weighted in tech stocks which have been decimated. I suppose many still cling to the hope that the good times will return but they won't. it will only get worse - current bear mkt rally not withstanding. I am a doom & gloomer -that's my story and i'm sticking to it! mike

Would you mind explaining what a "non-boomer" is?
