I think you are overly senstive on the point.... You know Bill pretty well. He's no XXX. If he thougth you lied, he'd tell you so very directly and without the phony sweetness and light....

I think you are going overboard and taking the extreme interpretation. LOL... I always assume stupidity or lazy thinking when an otherwise reasonable person posts dumb stuff. Let me illustrate. Once upon a time I was an Applications Engineer that worked with sales and marketing in selling technology tools. I use to tell this joke to groups of engineers I spoke to. How do you know when a salesman is lying? His lips are moving. How do you know when a marketing guy is lying? His eyes are open. Now how do you know when an Application engineer is lying? Well that's difficult, you see Application engineers are boyscout honest just like you guys, but we hang around with sales and marketing guys all the time and we can be naive on occasion. So you never know.
