I would guess that every person in their lives would say and do stupid things a few times. I know I have and the way I avoid repeating being stupid is to recognize and say to myself, boy that was dumb and I was an idiot.

I donot consider the words stupid and idiot to be invective.
I donot consider telling another that my interpretation of what they are saying is stupid or idiotic is invective. Especially when I take the time to explain my reasons.

And telling another that I interpret the way they said something is dishonest or untoward in any way is not invective.

Especially after I have taken the time to tell that individual that I have considered them honest from all their previous posts. I am conveying that poor or lazy thinking on their part has caused them to post intellectually dishonest analysis.

And using or recycling posts of someone I respect in poking biting fun at another is not invective. I had to get biting in. #reply-17907032 LOL

As I said, I cut to the bone and don't play touchy feely.
But I don't use invective. I use righteous anger to express indignation. I'd say you clearly donot have an understanding of the difference. Another might call that weak enemy identification skills.

In weak identification there are false positives and false negatives.
