Keith, yes, the installed base of housing drives sales for HD and the like.

Doesn't it?

Does anybody watch the TLC channel on cable?

I have spent well over $20,000 at HD the past couple years fixing up my house, which I bought a couple years ago. And I keep coming back because I like the HD stores. I did a lot of comparison shopping, and HD always came out with the best price and great selection.

I don't go to HD nearly as much, but that's because I'm almost finished with the remodel.

Like I mentioned previously, I have friends who are fixing up their houses instead of buying new ones, and those that bought new houses are in need of curtains, various home items, etc. Seems bullish for HD andLOW the next couple years, but who knows.

There are recent articles that Bill Gates and the Janus funds have been big buyers of HD. This also seems bullish for HD, but not a guarantee.
