since pricing is what matters to most people, that is a pretty important drawback imo.

It's a lot easier to get the pricing right after you have a decent service than the other way around.

PCS made a pretty good first move in their pricing scheme. It is much cheaper than most of the other plans on the market....but I agree that flat-rate is the eventual goal. T-Mobile is supposedly going to be offering 200 minutes and unlimited wireless web usage for $40 in September.

The one thing that carriers need to figure out is that data needs to be cheaper than voice....right now, they are trying to get a huge premium to their voice rates.
