Cuz they are so cool. You can stuff them, serve soup in them, use them for dip containers or salad containers. They are round. I think that round zucchini are unique and much more versatile that plain old long zucchini. You can also scoop them out like pumpkins and use them as candle holders. Yeah! I'm going to take my huge crop and make candle holders for the night. No one wants to eat them. ;)
