Volume is rising on the uptrend moves and falling on the declines if you look at the microtrends...for example, the 1 of c, the 3 of c, or the 5 of c up moves. That's to be expected. However, the larger pattern shows that total volume for 1 of c is more than 3 of c which is more than 5 of c. Thus each complete rising microtrend was done on less and less volume. I think it becomes necessary to put the bigger picture in perspective and that is falling voume on the whole pattern. Today's volume looks to be short as well.

This is the total market data. It is rising but barely...looks more like a flag. The DOW a/d line is the strongest. The Nasdaq a/d line actually is almost flat.
