I knew you'd be sniffing around the iShare world. <smile>

Since I don't trade the rydex series, I don't know their expense costs, loads or other fees....., but they can't match the costs of your broker, even at $25 a turn. Add to this the option side..., and the only thing left is the ability to trade'm on the right side...!

Biggest problem is setting up a chart filtering system to watch them move and determine which ones are a buy or sell. Also, there's the technical lack of historical data.

Also they're not yet pulling in a ton of volume, and I'll guess the market makers might have fun with the match ups.... especially in a fast market or they'll be real friendly in order to keep the business.

The big boys hold their sector models very close, and I've not found a news letter or website working with timing iShares. Maybe we should do it...! Get a little seed money fron Don and flag this train down....! <smile>

>>You got tremendous leverage in these vehicles (iShares) in the form of options to diversify the risk.<<

In a like manner, single stock futures may well largely replace stock options.

Believe ahead us... we'll still have more confusion and uncertainty, with a lot of conflicting information on direction. Out of this is emerging a new investment climate. It will happen slowly, but many Traders will miss it....!

Whole new ball of stock yarn to unravel...
Won't look like a '90s rerun...
