Previously I mentioned the 'deep pockets' factor; I also think, though, that there's an issue of courage involved; the courage to be able to say "GFY" with aplomb - however artfully - to individuals and groups requesting such outrageous things. And, simultaneously, I'm quite sure that few pols in America have it. LP.

And speaking of the Brits, why isn't this reparation thing crossing the pond? They held African slaves as well. You betcha. Maybe we should invite the British Army over to kick Jesse Jackson's and conyer's butts.
