Admitting the weapons inspectors? At which time the new inspectors would go to Iraqi officials and say, "How about you tell me where your WMD are...". Uh, I don't think so.

Cutting a deal? Something like the '91 ceasefire agreement, where Iraq agrees to do something and we agree to do something? I don't think so ... they don't have a really good track record here.

I don't believe thinking people will see any alternative. It is essential that we (1) kill Saddam Hussein, and (2) after doing so, take control of his WMD.

Unless someone has a different specific game plan, I'm not sure what else would solve the problem. Did you have an idea?
