Not hard to understand at all. We don't trust Bush. His friends are the loggers, not the environmentalists. Besides, he comes from TX, a state not know for conservation and concern with the environment.

Your mistrust is misplaced. The Clinton administration totally mismanaged the situation for eight years; now we have someone taking positive, definitive action to help eliminate the loss of forests to these horrible fires. And the environmentalists are raising hell.

You don't have a clue and you are way outside your expertise. Give it up!

The reality is it is all about politics. The environmentalists are liberals, and they don't want a mean old republican out-conserving the liberals.

The general rule to follow is that Reps. are not to be trusted. Their origins are from the original ruling class of this nation who now are being forced to share in some small degree the wealth of this nation. They have not done it willingly nor with any kind of grace........in fact, they have fought tooth and nail to hold on to every cent they have.

So, no one is fooled by Coulter's references to the party's blue collar roots. No one is fooled by the inclusion of persons of color in the current administration. And no one is fooled by the sudden environmental sentimentality being promoted by Bush. We know where your passion and interests lie......in your wallets. And growing trees does nada for your wallets but selling logs does. So Bush can babble all he wants......no one is buying it.
