What I'm going to say is subject to correction by OMD; he is more knowledgeable here than I. However, this sort of procedure has been used in the past on Jorj's threads. In fact, the current moderated TTMAR (which has OMD as moderator) was spun off of unmoderated Groundhog Day thread as a result of problems caused by disruptive behavior by one poster on GD. However, that behaviour (from what I saw of it) did not rise to a level where it violated TOU. It simply interfered with and disrupted normal business and relationships on the thread and inspired numerous fights. And now OMD can put bone or two of his into the pot if he wants.
