MRVL - and quarterly results:

Obviously I was wrong - and I am happy for that! This proves the point that not all of the peers out of the group of AMCC, BRCM, PMCS and VTSS must right now be bad news...
Isn´t it time that more people realize, that MRVL is indeed in this group - and indeed outperforms them all???

Michael, thanks. I enjoy your insight and believe you are correct. You just say it so much better than I can.

The bottom line that many of us believe is: earnings will float this boat. And, earnings will come back.

Though I think that is several quarters off, insiders are confident enough that during August they bought about 590,000 shares while selling less than 6,000.

(I got my numbers from MS Investor site, so do not guarantee their accuracy; but it's probably in the ballpark.)

Still, I bet the trend is to purchase from the inside rather than sell, because a buck-thirty is cheap for this stock in the long run. I have invested here.

Further, Tech overall will rise faster than VTSS, but VTSS will float with the overall Tech marked to some degree.

I feel sorry for all those fund managers who had to get out at the bottom because of the S&P decision.

I heard on TV that "you make most of your money in a bear market...you just don't know it at the time."

Gotta admit I was too greedy to sell off on the few pops near $1.50. I purchased AH the day they got booted, at $1.42. I've been paying close attention to the trading of late, and have little doubt that the price will rise once the remaining overhead is dissolved.

The charts, fwiw, are turning up quite nicely too. I like watching the DMI's as an indication of accumulation. Nice action again today again.
