Mulholland, there's no question we're in for some tax punishment...state and local governments are in trouble, and the WSJ contains a story today about a drop in federal tax receipts, too.

Calif frequently argues the budget past the dead line. It's no big deal.

Davis's put us in a deficit buying electricity instead of letting the market bare out. In his infinite wisdom he was protecting us poor Californians from sky high electricity by robbing the treasury. If he'd done nothing we could of turned off every light bulb except those in street lights and called those Texans bluff. Instead he acts to protect his governor ship with our money. Unaccountable and untouchable he just blames the consultants.
