Hello Gottfried et al,

FWIW - I used today's strength to close out of my latest position in ATMI, after a quick run up more than 21%.

I suspect we might get a pullback. Besides, this market is too skittish for me. I'm just not willing to hold after a nice gain.

AXTI, GGNS, MKSI and TRKN have also turned but I'm a bit under water on the first two and just in the green on the latter ones. I'll await developments.

Just don't ask me about my KLIC!

Rgds,
Jonathan

Gottfried, the performance of telecom and telecom related stocks has been outstanding of late. One of the worst performing sector throughout this bear market seems to have put a bottom in but what has not? Lots of so called penny stocks are now getting renewed attention. Tonight virtually every site of information that I respect is warning about the short term outlook for the market. Maybe a little more of a run but according to the consensus but we should see some profit taking soon enough. We will have to wait and see.

I checked the SOX 6 month daily chart and personally I don't think the downward trend changes until the index is over 400. Of course there were not many areas of weakness in the market today outside of tobacco and semiconductors.

The VIX is still falling and the short term trend is still up... up... and up.
