I think short interest on naz stocks comes out next week. I look on the naz site for individual issues and look at the trend. Last info was as of July 15th. It's not true that we get a sell off every fall. In fact there was lots of talk we'd get a sell off in 1999 over Y2K fears and we never got it. I don't know what will happen. It's possible that we'll get funds selling off their winners to pay for their losers or it's possible we get no sell off in which case I would think that the shorts left would start covering realizing that they've overstayed their welcome.
