It is "their culture," John. We have business interfering in how they deal with women in "their culture." I know you mean that as funny, Bill, and I should pass on it as that. But, just a moment. Look at the term "their". Women disappear out of the "their." The only thing which could make the phrasing worse would have been to say "their women," stating that the males owned the females. I have no problem finding these practices objectionable; nor, I suspect, does a large portion of the Muslim world.
