The earth's ecosystems are surprisingly resilient; however, man has a way of pulverizing that resilience. People like Mr. Bush and the loggers seem to have little understanding of the importance of trees to the world's ecosystem. Further, they represent those people who feel the need to 'conquer' the planet, damaging ecosystems in the process. Its for that reason almost everything Mr. Bush does in this arena is suspect and usually invokes rage in environmentalists.

Whatever. It is totally political. Bush does something positive for the environment and the liberals are all over him. Liberals ALWAYS put politics before substance, and this is but one more example.
