When was the last time you saw someone buying
shares in a hot new car company, a railroad, steel, aircraft or food/tobacco
company?

I'm rather glad that the "smart" money doesn't run to these companies. Lets me make comfortable profits from them with minimal risk.

About 70% of the people buying stocks have no business buying stocks, because they refuse to take the time and effort to figure out the fair value of a company.

Maybe that should be 90%.

People who are willing to take the time to analyze companies, and who aren't out to make a quick killing but who are satisfied with steady, solid growth, are very difficult to fleece. Enron managed it, but it's not easy.
