Re: Your "honest opinion" forgot these results in the Volkel's THG review :

LOL!!!

Nice catch. There was a time when Wanna_bmw was different from Engel - those days are long gone.

The bee's are getting scared. Details of the intentional errors favoring Intel that were built into the BAPCO tests are coming to light just as the class action case against Intel is coming to court.

Intel should learn a lesson from Clinton: it's the cover up that hurts. Intel should just admit what they did with BAPCO, their version of the tobacco institute, instead of compounding their fraud with an aggressive cover up.

Regards,

Dan

MAX, Re: "Your "honest opinion" forgot these results in the Volkel's THG review"

I don't really care about most of those tests, since they don't resemble any applications that I've seen. PC Mark might be an exception, since it uses a lot of code segments from popular applications. As for 3DMark 2000, why bother if 3DMark 2001 is available? The former benchmarks DirectX 7, which no one uses any longer. DirectX 8, and soon DirectX 9 will be the gaming platforms that all developers use.

Do you disagree with this, or are you just looking for a reason for including more Athlon favored benchmarks?
