He's capable of that, but seems to have adopted a scorched earth policy on this and some other threads. Different people have different ways of reacting to such things. Some want to silence the irritant. My reaction is inevitably curiosity about why. Most often, it would seem, people who spout nonsense do so because they don't know any better. When people choose what we might consider less desirable options, we wonder why. At least some of us do. I don't have enough exposure to TP to have any insights or opinions. Has anyone ever asked him? Has he ever spoken to the question? Perhaps he does it to irk or to counter what he considers the "scorched earth policy" of those whose skin he gets under...
